SS 316 / 316L Angle

316 / 316L stainless steel alloys contain higher levels of molybdenum and nickel than 304 alloys, which improve corrosion & pitting resistance in more aggressive environments. Used often for angles, 316 / 316L alloys provide better resistance to chloride-containing media, salt water and acidic chemical environments such as sulfuric acid compounds. They maintain the high strength, toughness and work-ability properties of 304 alloys.

APPLICATIONS
316 / 316L angle is used as structural supports, braces and framework for tanks, enclosures, cabinets, housings and tanks in marine, saltwater, waste treatment and chemical applications.
